The Pennsylvania Straw Poll is the annual polling of attendees at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference. Since 2011 the Pennsylvania Straw Poll has provided an in-depth look of the issues and thoughts behind the conservative voice in Pennsylvania.
In 2012 Pennsylvania Straw Poll went fully electronic, utilizing the Straw Poll App on Apple iPads. The Straw Poll App was developed to provide scientific and accurate results specifically for the Pennsylvania Straw Poll.
In 2017 Pennsylvania Straw Poll introduced the PLCLive Poll during the results presentation, the PLCLive Poll allows audience members to cast votes via mobile devices using the polleverywhere.com application.
In 2018, the Straw Poll App was retired as a number of third party tools have met and exceeded the requirements required to provide a polling. The 2018 PA Straw Poll was conducted with the PollDaddy.com Application Framework.
In 2019, the Pennsylvania Straw Poll moved to CrowdSignal.com utilizing iPad's.
In 2025, VoteProof.com in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Straw Poll conducted the Poll using their proprietary software providing printed receipts and online vote validation for the first time.
